It has been said that there has never been a civil war that truly ended. The battles may cease, truces might be declared, one side can claim victory, but eventually the hostilities flare up again. It may take a decade or hundreds of years, but time and time again, the old grievances resurface, and usually with more destructive power than ever.
There’s one exception: the American Civil War.
Until now.
This time it isn’t north versus south.
It isn’t liberal versus conservative.
It isn’t black versus white.
It isn’t red versus blue.
It isn’t rich versus poor.
This time it’s every state for itself.
